Co-founded by real-life sisters Carol Conlan and Diane Golias, peanut & knucklehead items are custom made in their Ottawa Hills, Ohio studio.

About the Artists... don't be mislead by Carol’s background as an attorney, she's been making jewelry since age 14 when she started her "bedazzled" jewelry line sold exclusively in gift shops on Kelleys Island. This, combined with Diane’s MBA level corporate marketing and sewing and art skills, they've created a successful work environment, and p&k was born.

They are always asked, “So… who is peanut & who is knucklehead?”  Neither Carol nor Diane will own up to the moniker, however, Patrick coined the name of knucklehead & peanut from a children’s story he is writing, and the sisters “borrowed” it because it reminded them of the expression, "I get what you said knucklehead", which their late father often said.

However, on any given day, with a 4 yr. old, a 6 yr. old, a 8 yr. old, a puppy, two kitties and some tadpoles... there are plenty of peanuts, and possibly a knucklehead or two in the group!
