Peanut & Knucklehead will host a booth at the Aurora Project's Unique Boutique, to be held from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at The Sylvania Country Club Thursday, November 19, 2009.  For the fifth consecutive year, this event has proven to be a holiday favorite for women throughout the Toledo Metropolitan area. 

The event features an evening surrounded by friends sipping champagne while enjoying an exquisite array of desserts, and for chocolate lovers, a neverending chocolate fountain.  Channel 13-WTVG-s own Lee Conklin will be serving as the evening's emcee, encouraging participants to "shop til the drop!"    

All proceeds raised will benefit the Aurora House, which offers new beginnings to homeless women and their children.  Aurora is a comprehensive program providing housing and services where women can work through issues that led to homelessness; build parenting and life skills and take the time necessary to make permanent, positive changes so they will never be homeless again.  The focus at Aurora is not only on women but on their children as well.  It is the only program in our area that allows mothers the opportunity to have their children reside with them in a transitional setting, thus, helping one another learn and heal.
